What coronavirus means for the global economy – Ray Dalio

Ray Dalio is the Founder of Bridgewater and billionaire Philanthropist. Bridgewater is one of the largest hedge funds in the world and one of the few to successfully navigate the 2008 GFC and come out on top.

Here is a video programme on how Bridgewater navigated the 2008 Financial Crisis:

Bridgewater has more here:

Ray recently held a widely televised TedX “Ask Me Anything” event where he gave his opinions on what the virus means for the global economy. This is must-see TV for precious metals enthusiasts and moms and dads alike.

For a long time Ray has been warning governments and politicians that “the system is broken” and capitalism needs to be fixed. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer, and the wealth divide will cause social unrest. He has also been warning about the increasing tensions between world powers, and likening the current global situation to the world in 1930s (pre World War II).
